Creation is a godly act. At this very moment, while you’re reading this, something is being tugged into existence- and you probably won’t ever see it. You won’t even know what it is being created.
Now, let’s narrow the vague term of creation into something slightly more specific: creation of arts and literature. The humanities. The observations. Commentaries. Snapshots of the human collective. Rephrase the creation of arts and literature into a question: if a piece of art or literature is created and nobody (but you) has ever set eyes on it, then does it really exist?
Amorphous Magazine can answer that.
Yes, you will perceive your work to exist. But you will be the only one. You will be the only one who is affected by your work. Of course, this could lead to your work indirectly affecting the world at large through you- but that is a tenuous connection at best. That bridge is rickety, and its rails seem to be rotting.
But Amorphous can rebuild that bridge. Amorphous can rebuild you a direct connection between your work and the world.
WHAT IS AMORPHOUS?
We are a magazine devoted to the act of creation. We are a magazine who will stop at nothing to help artists and writers introduce their creations to the world and allow others to perceive them as existing. No matter who you are - whether you are a 16-year old maverick who has had no prior publication experience, Anne Sexton, or a sparkly, one-eyed unicorn - you are essentially a god the moment you create something. And Amorphous wants to help the gods.
